The Tenant Representation Advisors So ciety invites TRADS Members to attend a CPD event being delivered by Alan Vickery &\; Jeff Norris of DWD LLP.

Business rates are now on t he agenda for occupiers because of significant forthcoming changes – on 1st April 2023\, new rateable values and new charging rules shall come int o force across the United Kingdom. The purpose of the revaluation is to u pdate the tax base to reflect the market values from 1st April 2021 in Eng land and Wales (October 2021 in Northern Ireland and April 2022 in Scotlan d) valuing several million properties at valuation dates disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Alan Vickery &\; Jeff Norris will provide a summary of the tax\, the upcoming changes and some of the key issues that are focusing the minds of tenants.
