The Tenant Repr esentation Advisors Society invites TRADS Members to attend a free CPD eve nt hosted by British Land on\n the Canada Water Masterplan\ , which will be held at the Canada Water Project Hub on the 24th November 2022.
\nThe Canada Water site will be the first new town centre in L ondon in 50 years: a truly mixed-use new urban centre\,\n b uilt for the future. Set around water and green public spaces\, the site w ill create a vibrant destination where\n people can live\, work and be entertained.
\nOver the next twelve years\, the 53 acre masterplan will deliver a new high street and town square. Up to 3\,000 ne w\n net-zero carbon homes\, and 2 million sq ft of workspac e accommodating 20\,000 workers. A new leisure centre\, with\n swimming pools\, sports courts and gym. And 35% of the masterplan will be public open space - that's 16 extra acres\n of parks an d places to pause and relax.
\nNot only preserving but enhancing all the local history\, character and biodiversity that’s already here\, it 's the\n UK’s most sustainable regeneration scheme.
